Other features I wish were improved/included: being able to look at all the past messages, searching to find messages (my inmate can do this on his end, why can't we?), texting feature Nice things about the app: you can send images, short videos separately from an email, which you can't do through the webPreviously, this was great! No issues until the last several upgrades.

2. Now it doesn't work at all! When I click on the app to open it, it just stays on the loading page and NEVER moves past it, even waiting almost 30mins, extremely frustrating!! I now have to go to the web page which is not that mobile friendly! What is the point of having the app if it doesn't work, at all!!It seems to work when it wants to.

3. Other people are complaining as well.I was able to upload photos in my messages and use the snap n send, then all of the sudden it just stopped working.

4. A simple stamp actually still works as designed too.Having issues with notifications telling me I have a new message at 2am, then when I check there are no messages.

5. It allows me to use the video gram but I can't send photos anymore and this has been happening for a month or more.

6. Edit 3/30/23 for those unable to upload photos - I saw someone else say they couldn't upload photos anymore and noticed their permissions for the app changed.

7. That happened to me as well, the permissions to access my gallery and camera had been turned off from last update.

8. A few times my messages get stuck in drafts after I made sure to hit send and then confirm.

9. Does not work! When paying for messages to be sent I would expect the app to function.

10. Now, I'm constantly asked to upgrade, I'm constantly getting a red error due to connection issues , & it's lagging Way too long between screens or one section to the other.

11. It has been stuck on the loading screen for multiple days now, which is starting to get old.

1. Fix JPay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart JPay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the JPay App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "JPay" » Open JPay » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for JPay » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear JPay app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from JPay servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "JPay" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check JPay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, JPay might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall JPay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall JPay then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing JPay not working

2. Fix JPay Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make JPay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to JPay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, JPay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
