1. The rest of the time it gets stuck at the splash screen and never loads.Thank you for updating me! App is working great now! Can't open app! As soon as I install the app and try to open there is a pop-up message that says a new version is available in the play store.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Back-Up Care Issues

1. Fix Back-Up Care Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Back-Up Care: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Back-Up Care App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Back-Up Care" » Open Back-Up Care » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Back-Up Care » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Back-Up Care app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Back-Up Care servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Back-Up Care" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Back-Up Care app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Back-Up Care might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Back-Up Care. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Back-Up Care then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Back-Up Care not working


2. Fix Back-Up Care Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Back-Up Care be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Back-Up Care not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Back-Up Care may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
