Battle.net Authenticator Customer Insights

1. I need the authenticator code to log in on a computer, but I can't log into the actual authenticator app - it's just a neverending parade of "an unknown error occurred." Complete garbage unless you're looking for an easy way to cut yourself off from gaming!I had this app, but had to do a factory reset on my phone.

2. Despite having account hacking issues in the past, the developer really doesn't seem concerned about fixing this.Complete garbage app, didn't work on my old phone, still doesn't work on my new phone.

3. Is it restricted to newer phones? My husband had to do the same thing, and his worked fine when he re-installed the app on his phone.

4. I get daily email notifications that someone is trying to steal my account, and I can't even get two factor authentication? What a complete joke.App will not complete set up.

5. When those don't work, they consult a tech, whose response is "do a factory reset or buy a new phone".

6. Galaxy S8+ running Android 9.I installed this upon Blizzard's suggestion after having someone update my password without my approval.

7. Input email & password, hit set up button & app stalls at "Setting up..." for as long as I care to leave it running.

8. Have tried all the permission & cache clearing, etc, recommended on Blizzard's website to no avail.

9. At this point you're probably losing more players than preventing hackers.Apparently they are replacing the Google play app..... with an apple one according to the blurb attached to this app.

10. why make it more complicated, the authenticator has worked for over a decade, just leave it.Be careful.

11. Very disappointed because I am not buying a new phone just for this app.awful bug ridden rollout.
