For an ad-based free music streaming service, Slacker Studio and all others are INCOMPARABLY INFERIOR to YOUTUBE MUSIC - it is the only free service enabling also ON-DEMAND PLAYBACK of songs and complete albums! (Slacker Studio, Spotify, Amazon Music and the others would not play any specific song or album, only a mix of different songs 'based' on it).I couldn't cancel this app soon enough.

So I uninstalled it.the old slacker was better there is no reason to rate the app because he have doesn't deserve a rating are you going to have a reading list why did you go and change things so everybody lost their playlist it's obvious that the new slacker will put the slacker company out of business people should be demanding refunds I was ready to renew my subscription but when I listened and saw what they did to it it's not worth it but you can't even re-subscribe to it please fix slacker and go back to oldThis app used to be really good.

3. Thought it was an OS issue...they going out of business .,,Go to Deezer...very goodWhile playing music it paused for second every now and then while playing, just about 2 seconds and then continued playing.

4. All my playlists are gone and I have to like 6 songs to unlock options even though part of what my money was going to stopped all that!! Guess I'll try Pandora.

5. All I wanted was to listen to the podcasts it had 5 to 8 years ago when it was simple to find what I was looking for.Use to have a lot of songs and playlist.

6. I understand wanting to update the system, but why did so many people lose their playlist? I lost everything it took years to build.

7. I'm not liking this new format.I hate it since the new update, I've been listening to this for 15 years and I just lost everything that I had , can't even get into my old account because there is no place to type a password.

1. Fix Slacker Studio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Slacker Studio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Slacker Studio App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Slacker Studio" » Open Slacker Studio » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Slacker Studio » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Slacker Studio app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Slacker Studio servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Slacker Studio" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Slacker Studio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Slacker Studio might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Slacker Studio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Slacker Studio then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Slacker Studio not working

2. Fix Slacker Studio Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Slacker Studio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Slacker Studio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Slacker Studio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
