1. If the developer could fix the issue with the app freezing up then you would get 5 stars from me.Although my youngest 5 and I love this app to help with phonics, I do think there's just too many things to be clicked where a small child can not easily do it independently, before getting to their actual lessons.
2. I am also taking advantage of their 10 week summer program for my son to keep him on track for the next school year! Thank you Reading egg for developing an amazing program.
3. The app was installed on a "compatible device" so it was rather annoying. My daughter loves reading eggs, math seeds and fast phonics.
4. Reading eggs has helped her immensely to learn to read and with the addition of fast phonics, it has helped her to improve her pronunciation.
5. It is disappointing when you really think highly of an app (with the freezes and all) but have poor experience with customer service.Just downloaded it for my almost 4 year old, 3 annoying things: if you have a fire tablet it can't be put onto the kids profile, so you have to stay logged in on the adult one.
6. Honestly, at least make it if you get 5 questions wrong you have to restart! Everyone is very desperate...I have been subscribed to Reading Eggs for a few years.
7. I think very highly of the entire reading eggs program, including the books, the on-line program, and the printables.
8. For the games where he had to pick the correct letter or number he would purposely choose the wrong one because he thought the sound it made was funny, so that was a little frustrating.
9. This is frustrating, especially when even an adult can't hear it and then she spells it wrong WITH help! Often the beginning or ending consonant is so soft that it cannot be heard at all, even with the volume up to maximum.
10. Maybe this game is okay on s tablet, but it is unusable for a small child on a phone. Some of the pronunciations are so hard to distinguish in Fast Phonics.
11. This app seems great at providing the foundations of learning to read but I can't see how they can justify a £9.99 per month subscription for something so full of bugs, especially as it's designed for small children.
