2. I would rate this app with 5 stars I the volume and usage of my phone and apps would actually play through ny hearing aids.

3. Yes, I did update the app at Beltone.I love the fact that this app enables me to adjust the volume, and tweak the equalizer settings of my hearing aids.

4. It constantly looses connection to one or the other side and the only way I have found to get them to both re-connect is to reboot the phone.

5. Some features seem more stable but the connection to the hearing aids is terrible.

6. Then you'll probably lose the connection if you stop your music say to answer the phone it only comes through in one ear.Something is a miss here.

7. I tried installing on my old HTC phone to see if it would work on that rather than my Samsung Galaxy S7, but no dice.

8. The app stays connected on my samsung phone however, it looses connectivity on a regular basis.

9. in order to get the hearing back in both ears you have to turn off your phone and restart it.

10. My last pair of hearing aids ( Seimans) worked flawlessly and cost much less.

11. Now, one or the other of the aids will lose its connection - often in the middle of a call or while streaming.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Beltone HearMax Issues

1. Fix Beltone HearMax Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Beltone HearMax: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Beltone HearMax App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Beltone HearMax" » Open Beltone HearMax » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Beltone HearMax » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Beltone HearMax app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Beltone HearMax servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Beltone HearMax" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Beltone HearMax app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Beltone HearMax might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Beltone HearMax. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Beltone HearMax then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Beltone HearMax not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Beltone HearMax be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Beltone HearMax not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Beltone HearMax may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
