This is a really good app, i haven't won the bigger contests yet, but I've had this for a few months , and I've earned two $10 gift cards just for answering a handful of questions in their surveys they have, which is awesome because they have the most simple and short surveys that I've ever done and actually payed out.

2. Simple and easy app worth downloading 🙂I've only been using the media Rewards app for a very short amount of time and it is easy to use and very straightforward.

3. I've had the app for about 2 years but have only had it running for around a year of continuous use, I've managed to enter the top 3% in point total but I haven't won a sweepstakes in that time frame, only a couple survey's that rewarded $10 after completion.

4. Scam and Malware app.I'm split with the stars just because I've had this app for almost 2 months and it's on day and night and I don't see the benefit to me to have it running all the time and have them use my data they need with nothing to offer me in return to monitor my phone.

5. Update: still haven't won the contest, but since last review, I've earned 3 $10 gift cards, just for a few ?S on surveys.

6. Media Rewards has sent only one e-mail, a simple questionaire for survey purposes, I'm assuming.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Media Rewards Issues

1. Fix Media Rewards Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Media Rewards: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Media Rewards App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Media Rewards" » Open Media Rewards: Survey Rewards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Media Rewards » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Media Rewards: Survey Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Media Rewards servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Media Rewards: Survey Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Media Rewards app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Media Rewards might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Media Rewards. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Media Rewards then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Media Rewards not working


2. Fix Media Rewards Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Media Rewards be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Media Rewards not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Media Rewards may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I won a $50 reward but haven’t received it in my PayPal account on the media rewards app. I waited 2 weeks but it never arrived.
