1. The new UI is too fiddly and cumbersome to use whilst driving (the play action pop-up when pressing and holding on an album, artist, genre, track, etc., was a brilliant way to quickly select and play music and the home screen tiles were the perfect size for quick selection and their independent ordering was amazing). The new version of the MMA app that recently installed itself on my phone is, IMHO, a big step backwards.
2. Now I have to select an album > ... button > play last Edit 2: Thank you! If you restore that feature and make it a little bit more difficult to accidentally scroll sideways on certain pages (e.g., artist list) I will restore 5 stars.
3. There is not a single benefit to the user with the most recent update.I have to degrade my rate review because the new version (Android app.) ruins my years of great experience with this player.
4. Say you click on the 'Genres' tab - Along the top, you can see 'albums', 'artists',and 'tracks', but notably cannot add the integral 'Album Artist' option as sub menus.
5. Also I miss the hold track pop up menu! This recent update has made Mediamonkey a chore to use while driving.
6. This almost has me wanting to go back to RocketPlayer because I drive for work and need Android Auto, considering it's illegal to mess with my phone while driving.Utter garbage.
7. When holding a track down you used to be presented with options such as play now, play next, play last and search at the bottom of screen.
8. Why the "Rate star bar" have to be placed over the album art and in this way block the bottom view of the album picture? It is totally not necessary to have this rate option always on top (or at all).
9. Ventis, please give us the old version back!Recent update removed functionality and overall made the app worse.
10. It looks like "America's Got Talent".Unfortunately have to update my review, I originally gave the new update 5 stars for the changes they made to the UI and general functionality of the app.
11. Edit: specifically I used to be able to select an album and add it to the end of my "now playing" queue with a single button press.
