2. One thing to note that's not stated obviously is that you can't alter a reservation starting on the first date of the reservation, even if it hasn't started yet (for example, when check in is in the afternoon).

3. For instance the full fee option is shown which you first click on and then you have to click on "Select Pass" to apply your pass and then when you check out the pass is applied to the final price.

4. There are many, many campgrounds that do not turn up in a search (even though they are listed on the individual pages for a specific forest and are currently open,) and no apparent way to add information-even the name, location and pics- for a "missing" place.

5. I tried a different campground that is associated with the other 2 sites, and *boop* back to the campground i didn't want again.

1. Fix Recreation.gov Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Recreation.gov: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Recreation.gov App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Recreation.gov" » Open Recreation.gov » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Recreation.gov » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Recreation.gov app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Recreation.gov servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Recreation.gov" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Recreation.gov app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Recreation.gov might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Recreation.gov. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Recreation.gov then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Recreation.gov not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Recreation.gov be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Recreation.gov not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Recreation.gov may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
