1. And yes, I updated the firmware and it's still slow and takes forever to connect.The only complication I had was receiving my confirmation email - which after contacting their support, emailed me back within minutes and fixed that issue.
2. The switch works perfectly, just remember to update the firmware! Anyone giving this a 2 star for setup problems is probably "Technologically illiterate" and I'm shocked they could actually leave a reviewThis is not a user friendly app.
3. The switch is outside and the app will not connect to it from inside the house, so I have to be outside standing next to the plug before I can turn the lights on manually or add a new schedule.
4. I can operate the switch manually, but like others here now the app says it won't connect to the device.
5. How am I supposed to update the firmware if I can't connect to the switches!?!? I don't use the app once the switches are set up and there's no notification of a firmware update.
6. and now, in using it again, it takes forever to connect and more often then not, I need to restart my Bluetooth to get it to work.
7. Every time, even when the device worked? Horrible UI and app development.This app and the associated light switches are complete junk.
8. I guess I'm supposed to open the app every now and then to check? You really need to get with the program and figure out how to make an app that's usable if you require updates to continue using switches.
9. I just bought the switch and it took forever to figure out that it needed a firmware update.
10. When login fails, it just says"connecting" in a modal window that keeps me from accessing my lights switch.
11. It has to connect to their web site to allow you to use Bluetooth to turn on your light.
