1. This is further enhanced with multiple features that makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors in NYSOther than helping to quick access some information from the DEC website, there doesn't seem to be much more use for it.

2. Needed to update user name and password but app wouldn't work and i called the phone number associated with app and it kept ringing and no one answering.

3. Hiking section only has basic hiking tips, no hiking regulations, maps, or alerts.

4. The other pages are hit or miss if they open or close the app.I like the links to my hunting & fishing licenses and other hunting regulations.

5. Might as well go to DEC and get better updated info and use your favorite map app.When it worked it was helpful with alot of information at your fingertips and current new and events.

6. VERY VERY FRUSTRATED!Regulations and season dates always available on your phone.

7. I expected to use this with my GPS and find place to hunt and hike.App keeps freezing when I open it.

11. I was looking to be able to access my NYS DEC account from here, which the app is touted as being able to do, but I don't see any option to do so.

1. Restart NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife" » Open NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife not working
