Why should I report an Issue with Aurora Alerts - Northern Light?

Thanks for such a fabulous app, but it would also help if it's displayed the benefits of paying for the app.Had free version for a while, purchased in-app $5.99 unlock so alerts could be activated but this feature is as useless as pedotus! Notification settings don't make a lick of difference: Set alert hours 1900-0300, just got several notifications at 1330-1430, plus nearly a dozen more shortly before 0600.

2. Why is my weather broken, NOT HAPPY!I have used this app for years and love it, paid for full version but now app does not load any data, tried wifi, mobile data, uninstall and re installed 10 + times, app just sits there trying to load.

3. Only thing you get extra is the alert! Times are not saved so as soon as you start doing something else, your setting goes back to standard (19-23)! Weather+moon data are n/a?! Visibility not taken into account.

4. Refund requested! Also, graphs and numbers do not align with NOAA predictions nor any of the other aurora apps, this app *always* shows higher numbers and probabilities than all others.I can't get this app to alert.

5. Other than that, a beautiful app.! 👍The data headings on the graph page beneath the oval image are way too tiny to read so the graphs and data provided are useless.

6. I just downloaded the app so I'm not able to review on the accuracy and ability to recieve notifications at this time.Your app is not currently displaying any information and all data fields show as "N/A".

HOWEVER, the reason for only a 3 star rating is because of the pricing for alerts; $1.99 each (there's 3), but you can get ALL the alerts for a "big discount" of $5.99 - $.02 MORE than buying them individually; WHERE'S THE BIG DISCOUNT!? Either this was a mistake or the developer is trying to scam people; hopefully it's the former.

8. I have tried this on wifi and data, restarted my device, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and tried it on wifi and data again.

9. I use Android version and all other apps on phone work correctly.

10. Now they alert, but I can't shut them off even when everything is deselected, can only silence through blocking the notification on Android.Love the app, used it all summer.

1. Fix Aurora Alerts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Aurora Alerts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Aurora Alerts App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aurora Alerts" » Open Aurora Alerts - Northern Light » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aurora Alerts » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Aurora Alerts - Northern Light app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aurora Alerts servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aurora Alerts - Northern Light" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Aurora Alerts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aurora Alerts might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Aurora Alerts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aurora Alerts then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aurora Alerts not working

2. Fix Aurora Alerts Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aurora Alerts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aurora Alerts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aurora Alerts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
