1. It seems that the locations are sorted by distance; you can't call it Best Locations and not have the option to sort by probability from highest to lowest.I had the most incredible experience 4/23/23!! I saw the Northern Lights southeast of the twin cities.
2. The clouds were coming in, but we got to watch for about 20-30 minutes, and the clouds cover came in.I missed the last sittings of the lights last month, so I joined this in order to get notifications.
3. thank you so much for designing and keeping this app running so people like myself who lives in MA get to prepare for a bucket list moment!!! even if you are too far to see for your own eyes its still a good app to have because of the live webcams and the pictures users share.Extremely accurate.
4. As pointed out by some other reviewer, I first unchecked the default option to not send notifications in summer and was able to see the northern lights.
5. Pictures with a "nighttime" mode help get some really awesome pictures.I'm so happy with this app! It's full of intersting worldwide forecasts and live maps.
6. It would be nice to see what seasons I should plan to have outings in for my area.It took a while for this app to mature, but it has become one of my go-to tools for chasing Aurora.
7. You can opt in for notifications when the aurora conditions are good for that night, or within the hour, which is so cool.
8. Well done!App's great, but I think one feature is missing in "Best Locations" window: Sorting by probability.
9. because of it I was able to catch a small glimpse of what people in the poles and surrounding areas get to see most nights.
10. I received multiple notifications April 23 or 24 when the Aurora was showing strong.
11. Thx for your help!!!We had great success using this app while cruising around Iceland in August.
