EWA Customer Insights
1. - Useless unless you live overseas.Does't even cover Turkey, only for specific countries...👎so not usable for all.No USA? Says to pick a country but then does not offer USA.
2. Blank white screen! Uninstalled, reinstalled .... same.
3. 😪No data for North America locations.
4. Shame, used to be good.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EWA Issues
1. Fix EWA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart EWA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the EWA App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EWA" » Open EWA - Extreme Weather Alert » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EWA » click "UPDATE".
- Clear EWA - Extreme Weather Alert app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EWA servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EWA - Extreme Weather Alert" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check EWA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EWA might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall EWA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EWA then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EWA not working
2. Fix EWA Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EWA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EWA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EWA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
