Cons: - sometimes it cannot detect videos (due to full-page app-inserted ads, webpage needs to be reloaded); - basic features (eg.bookmarks) reserved for paid version; - ads & constant requests to upgrade to paid are very disruptive!! 5* for paid version, increased for last version: still nice to have bookmarks & no-ads; recent updates solved many problems.I tried this app with Samsung TV and Chromecast separately to cast a movie via a provider which uses m3u8 protocol.

2. Those problems are a thing of the past now! This app has played every single web video I've thrown at it on my Chromecast, Roku TV/Sticks, Fire Stick, PS4, Xbox & TV Browsers! Premium features & ad-free from PlayPass is a HUGE bonus! Amazing & talented devs! A+++5 star app I used the free version of this and it works perfect.

Just two things limit it from a 5 ☆ rating, some of my media doesn't show it's file name within the app and when casting to Windows the screen isn't full screen (but that may be an issue with the Windows Connect app).Best & easiest casting app! I've used many, including Castify; which was very similiar but lacked support for a lot of the sites I started to frequent.

4. If my eyes weren't wrong casting via TV with Web Video Cast app was smoother compare to Chromecast as I noticed minor lagging issues with Cast.

5. Tried an SMB share, tried a DLNA server, tried multiple overly technical things to try and get my phone media to play on my Windows Notebook but none worked.

6. I'm sure there might be better ones out there but none that can match the price.3* for free version: Pros: +works well for Roku; +decent resolution; +stable, once it starts casting.

1. Fix Cast to TV Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cast to TV Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cast to TV Pro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cast to TV Pro" » Open Cast to TV Pro - Chromecast, Stream phone to TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cast to TV Pro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Cast to TV Pro - Chromecast, Stream phone to TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cast to TV Pro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cast to TV Pro - Chromecast, Stream phone to TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cast to TV Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cast to TV Pro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cast to TV Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cast to TV Pro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cast to TV Pro not working

2. Fix Cast to TV Pro Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cast to TV Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cast to TV Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
