1. Tracker Detect looks for item trackers that are separated from their owner and that are compatible with Appleās Find My network.
2. These item trackers include AirTag and compatible devices from other companies.
3. If you think someone is using AirTag or another device to track your location, you can scan to try to find it.
1. It's generally useful that there is an air tag or other compatible tracking device near you but it doesn't say how far it is (distance or simply how close/far), signal strength, what direction it's in and what does it mean when you play it and no sound turns on or the sound stops.
2. Each scan detects any unknown tag as new and doesn't seem to remember the same tag between scans, extending that 10 min timer each time you manually rescan.
3. Apple might have had good intention, but this was absolutely a horrible execution.Detects that there's a tracker nearby but does nothing when trying to play the sound.
4. Appreciate being able to manually scan and it does not have to run in the background.
5. This actually indicates you are being tracked.Couple issues: Press the button to scan and it just starts scanning, never stops until you tell it to.
6. 2, from what one screen says, it doesn't pick up on air tags until 15 minutes after it's out of Bluetooth range of owner's device.
7. That would chew through battery and may not be doable with Droid using a third party app, but it's still a big limitation. Was hoping for an option to have this running in the background.
8. I thought it would scanning in the background, the way it seems it does for Apple.
9. I just hope it works well with my iPhone when I actually do lose something.Hello! It clearly says the tracker needs to be away from it's paired device for at least 15min.
10. This would also allow more frequent scans over a longer period to find 15 minutes away from the offenders.Super pointless app.
11. I wonder if it's holding onto old data and coming up as a new tracker detected each time?Good to have this on Android platform.
