Why should I report an Issue with GhanaKey - Keyboard for Ghana?

1. To overcome this you should go to the phone's settings and find the keyboards' list (on a Samsung phone it's at Settings/General management/Keyboard list and default).

2. On some phones the update process of Ghanakey doesn't go to the phone's settings to enable Ghanakey.

3. You can change the keyboard style to arrange all the keys to one side (left or right) if you often type with one thumb only.

4. Here enable Ghanakey and this will make it appear as selectable on the keyboards' list.

5. On the following page select keys height factor in portrait mode or landscape mode.

6. It learns your words and will offer it after some time. - Most of the Ghanaian characters including capital letters are not supported by Android 4. 2.

7. You can change the keyboard's height in settings.

8. Then you can continue with Ganakey 4. 8 setup and set Ghanakey as default.

9. This is a keyboard for the written languages in Ghana.

10. Go to settings/keyboard themes then tap the 3 dots on the upper right and select tweaks.

11. You can adjust the aggressiveness of the suggestions in settings.

It would have however been helpful if there could be an option to show the Home, End and arrow keys readily on the keyboard instead of having to swipe up on the space bar before you could access it.I have had this app as my default keyboard on my Galaxy Note 8 for over 2 years and it serves my purpose very much.

2. Is there an alternative version of the app, or a way to overcome this drawback? I'd love to use it for the Dagbani language.I wish I can prevent this app from completely replacing Gboard! It wasn't like that.

6. Long press on the Space Bar brings up the menu to turn on GhanaKey app.

7. To get Gboard back, I have to uninstall this app! Is this by design, or there is something I'm not doing right?It is great and I love it.

8. But i think it would be best if you add the numbers on top of the keyboard (on top of the local languages) instead of touching the number key.

9. I would have preferred if their is a feature where the keyboard can have a vibrating feel when typing.

1. Fix GhanaKey Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GhanaKey: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GhanaKey App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GhanaKey" » Open GhanaKey - Keyboard for Ghana » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GhanaKey » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GhanaKey - Keyboard for Ghana app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GhanaKey servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GhanaKey - Keyboard for Ghana" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GhanaKey app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GhanaKey might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GhanaKey. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GhanaKey then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GhanaKey not working

2. Fix GhanaKey Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GhanaKey be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GhanaKey not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GhanaKey may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
