About MyKi Watch

1. Tracking function: You can check the present location of your child wearing a MyKi™ GSM-GPS watch, at any time and browse the location history for the past month.

2. The child may reply with a voice message or a telephone call from the MyKi™ GSM-GPS watch.

3. Always know where your child is with MyKi™ GSM-GPS watch and the MyKi Watch app, sold separately.

4. Communication functions: You can call the watch or send voice and text messages to your child via the app.

6. Footprints function: You can set two Safe Zones, in which you know your child is secure.

MyKi Watch Customer Insights

1. If I call the number, it rings, but apps says it cannot connect :-(I can't create account, it push me through disclaimer and agreement confirmation over and over again... Any clues? ---SOLVED --- I used other phone to create account, it worked after that... Could be Android issue, overlay screen option or similar.

2. Would higly recommend this watch and app.Need help! Or solution.. I'm not receiving messages nor notifications! When I open app then I see my kids sent me meesages, went out of safe zone, pressed sos button, etc.. I should have been notified about those things, but I'm not.

3. Please improve it as watch is useless without the app.I'm not able to set up an account on the app! Tried messaging online and sending email but no reply yet!! Update 14/10 - The email address on their home page is misspelt so my emails were not getting through.

4. And don't tell me allow notifications, because it worked just fine and all of a sudden stopped.Cannot set up account even though the watch has a valid sim card and it rings when I call it.

5. The app itself has good features, but most of the time there is an error saying that watch is out of range so I can't send messages to it, nor see updated location, even though it is right next to me and always in area with good signal.

6. Once I noticed and they replied all has been resolved and the system works perfectly! ThanksThis is my son's second smart watch for kids (the previous one was different brand).

7. While sending a security code, I receive an error message saying "Error, there is no connection to the watch, the command is not completed, try again later" .

8. Both myki app and watch are user friendly and so far everything is working (sos button, calls, gps, messaging...). GPS gives quite accurate coordinates.

9. So disapointed after this change.PLEASE do something about your app! It's disturbingly wrong, anoying that sometimes disconnects from the watch and can't connect, says "watch out of range" even when it's right in my hand.

10. One thing also I noticed is that I can't edit rights in Contact list: Only one contact (SOS and first one I've added) can make all three types of communication , meaning call, video and message.

11. As I see it happens to a lot of people.I am new at this (with Myki4 lite), and I still cannot connect the watch to the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyKi Watch Issues

1. Fix MyKi Watch Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyKi Watch: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyKi Watch App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyKi Watch" » Open MyKi Watch » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyKi Watch » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyKi Watch app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyKi Watch servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyKi Watch" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyKi Watch app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyKi Watch might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyKi Watch. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyKi Watch then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyKi Watch not working


2. Fix MyKi Watch Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyKi Watch be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyKi Watch not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyKi Watch may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
