1. As if it's not enough that boomplay sends a lot of unnecessary notifications, and disturbs me with ads, the new update has taken away my freedom of completely removing the music play option from my notification bar after I'm done listening to music.

2. Gradually falling In love with Spotify, thanks to you.I've had an awsome experience since i started using boomplay music app.

3. and all the new songs I tried searching up did not show up either!!! even though they are trending songs and cab easily be found on other music apps.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Boomplay Issues

1. Fix Boomplay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Boomplay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Boomplay App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Boomplay" » Open Boomplay: Music & Live Stream » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Boomplay » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Boomplay: Music & Live Stream app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Boomplay servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Boomplay: Music & Live Stream" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Boomplay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Boomplay might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Boomplay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Boomplay then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Boomplay not working


2. Fix Boomplay Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Boomplay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Boomplay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Boomplay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I uploaded my songs on boomplay using afrotunes,on release my songs once were released on other artist account after i claimed my artist account for verification the account then was verified i got my songs on my profile but i keep seeing his songs on my profile...i want only to claim/see my songs on my profile and not other songs thank you
