1. The planets are really small compare to the distances between each of them which is really large, resulting in difficulties to actually have the real-scale solar system on a book page – the planets would be so small that you may not see.
2. This application (“RSSS – Real-Scale Solar System”) started from the inefficient teachings and misconceptions about the solar system.
3. The solar system consists of mostly huge blank space with small planets, objects and a sun.
4. This application is expected to demonstrate the real-scale of the solar system.
5. It would be impractical to have the solar system in real life demonstration due to its size, its planets’ and objects’ size.
6. This has led to the creation of this application, zoom in and out, reading the information of each, which is convenient for students in this era.
7. The developers think that it could help the students to avoid some misconceptions of space and the solar system and help improving the understandings of the solar system, any time on the phones or tablets.
1. Would love to see an overview of all planets orbit if possible.the reason why I gave it a 1 star is because I noticed a glitch in the game not so long ago that you can't click on planets(including the sun;if you click "Sun" the sun itself disappears) on the bar and the other buttons so I uninstalled the game so please fix it.Thank you for fixing the errors.
2. you push a "left" or "right" button (incorrectly drawn on an S8 halfway off the screen edge) and it just travels from one planet to the next... there's really no feeling for the scale of space between.
3. if a planets too big for the current zoom it just kinda clips out of view and disappears.
4. There's a weird drop down on the top right, but the main menu draws over the top of itExcellent scaling solar system.
5. it may be to scale but that's kinda pointless with such a badly designed ui.
6. And the zoom is equally bad.
7. Educational and informative.
