1. We just need a midi connection option which will allow me to connect the phone to the keyboard to detect scales and cord I'm playing, instead of me pressing play on the app and than playing it afterwardsWith an interface that is not intuitive and is confusing to use, you need to provide instructions.
2. Too annoying to use.If there was an option to use the microphone (listening for an actual piano) instead of an on-screen piano, that would make this a really nice companion/practice app.First I thought that It would show fingerings for the scales because when I searched fingerings practice this app came.
3. I really have been enjoying this app, and suggest anyone with a desire to learn about the piano to give it a try.App is trying to get me to buy premium 30 seconds after open and I'm not even sure if I like the app yet or not.
4. Other than the usability problems, the app is stable.I can't play a piano, so I can't speak to all the technical aspects of the program.
5. The jam function is AWESOME for knocking out quick recordings of ideas as they come into your head, just playing chords with three fingers, and you can record right in the app! The metronome isn't bad either.
6. A better scroll feature to move the keyboard would be nice, and playing a scale or chord in another octave should be accepted.
7. Edit: After writing this review I discovered even more sweet functions, including background in-app play of any music stored on your phone.
8. There are plenty of other free resources on the internetGreat app for learning scales and chords at any non-beginner level.
9. You should be able to look up the notes of a scale without showing the keyboard, and you should be able to exit a screen showing the keyboard without making a lot of noise.
10. By the features it offers, it presents itself as a teaching or reference tool and as a game.
11. But when it played the scale I was able to play the scale perfectly.
