1. It makes my camera look dark, the rendering takes for ever (10 minutes) for 1 video at a time, soesnt allow me to go back to past videos to re do them, very hard to edit video on Ipad and Phone, recording audio is bad with and withour headphones, video and audio are never in sync, it is hard to do anything, moving around the app takes forever beacause it loads forever, and you can hardly edit your account.Apparently the previously iPhone only apps hate Android so much that couldn't bother to take the time and make an app that does the bare minimum.

Developers do yourself a favor and take ecstasy before attempting to make this app again.I loved this app on my iphone, but when I record something on this one and hit the green check mark it starts thinking and saying "rendering" and just stays like that forever... I let it run like that for 3 hours hoping it would finally finish, and no luck.

3. Just loops endlessly between selecting a screen layout, video length, and then showing me an add before starting all over.

4. It's stuck on a loop of "pick a layout, pick a duration, pick a layout, pick a duration...." Don't even bother downloading this.Doesn't work.

5. Not a great experience.I've used this with an iPhone and purchased the 10 minute version, but I can only get up to 3 minutes tops on android.

6. I really did enjoy using it, but would love to record longer videos.Terrible. I select a template, record one block, then I cannot tap on any other blocks to record more parts.

7. The app crashed or looped back to same spot every time I pick a ratio and layout.

8. I didnt even have a chance to record a single video.

9. They would be better of just saying they aren't making an Android version smh πŸ™„One of the most garbage apps I have ever experienced.

10. Can't collaborate with people on iPhone and the layout makes absolutely no sense.

11. The Mixing isn't synced with each video and all the buttons pressed are delayed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Acapella from PicPlayPost Issues

1. Fix Acapella from PicPlayPost Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Acapella from PicPlayPost: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Acapella from PicPlayPost App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Acapella from PicPlayPost" » Open Acapella from PicPlayPost » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Acapella from PicPlayPost » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Acapella from PicPlayPost app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Acapella from PicPlayPost servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Acapella from PicPlayPost" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Acapella from PicPlayPost app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Acapella from PicPlayPost might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Acapella from PicPlayPost. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Acapella from PicPlayPost then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Acapella from PicPlayPost not working

On the 6th I clicked on the button that said free trial 7 days to finish a collab assuming subscription finished at midnight but instead charges my Β£8.99 for another month.   • I need to recover my password - and I can not get mix Team to respond - it has been two days....i need to collaborate on a project on acapella that is time sensitive - this is nuts.

  • i m trying to log in my acapella app with a new phone. there is an error. When i try to reset the password, it says the account doesnt exist
    i ve purchased acapella in march with apple id hovius@redacted, under email address songcaputh@redacted, username susanglim. i ve tried both email addresses. what s wrong?
