The resulting experience is very annoying, distractive and intrusive, not only for the person that is using the app, but for the people around them because the video ads suddenly start playing loudly and sometimes one has to wait a few seconds to stop the video (or rush to find the volume control to lower the volume).BBC's news itself is excellent, balanced in its coverage, and includes interesting stories not seen elsewhere.

2. WELL DONE!!!There are many times when they show an AD and there is a big delay only to find out news video isn't available or video just doesn't play at all.

3. There aren't many other outlets that post US News with limited bias, and I'm hoping things can be functional again soon.Well engineered app, and easy to customize, so I get the news that interests me in an attractive format.

10. Shouldn't there be an editor looking over these articles? And the app itself is very buggy (stories frequently disappear if you click them--especially the ones that take you off an app to a website to read.) And doesn't work offline anymore .It's so bad.

11. Secondly, when there's live coverage, tha android app shows a double page on a single page so the text size becomes tiny and unreadable.

1. Fix BBC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BBC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BBC App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BBC" » Open BBC: World News & Stories » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BBC » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BBC: World News & Stories app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BBC servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BBC: World News & Stories" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BBC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BBC might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BBC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BBC then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BBC not working

2. Fix BBC Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BBC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BBC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BBC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
