1. Would like to monitor several phones from either my own cell or my pc without the remote devices knowledge.Cannot be trusted, the camera stops sending the monitor data, almost imediately, with a picture of the location you are securing having you believe you are seeing real time footage, but you are not.

2. And if you want good video quality, they demand a pretty expensive subscription.Works great with no problems! Installed on an Alcatel Revvl 2 and on an old Samsung S3, works well on both.

3. The UI is very confusing and difficult to navigate, turning motion detection on or off requires a complex procedure, all video is rotated 90 degrees with no setting to fix it, and the app displays a permanent notification even on viewer devices.

4. I have set Trackview as the digital assistant and also turned off the "Remove Permissions" option and yet my remote device cannot be accessed after a short while.

5. During any call like WhatsApp, messenger etc.. It doesn't allow the target mobile to connect to the mic and speaker unlike gsm phone calls.

6. And a message apprears on the target mobile that trackview does not allow the call to use the mic.

7. It is an app that is suppose to allow background connections in order for the remote device to function as a camera or GPS locater but that is not the case here.

8. They have updated it multiple times and yet there are so many issues.Motion detection seems to work OK, but everything else is poorly built.

9. When viewing the other device the orientation is turned properly, but don't turn you phone to view it that way.

10. Not too bright.It works great on my android devices.

11. Whats the point of an update that doesn't improve the app? For the latest update, the app controls the display orientation.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Surveillance & Monitoring Issues

1. Fix Surveillance & Monitoring Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Surveillance & Monitoring: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Surveillance & Monitoring App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Surveillance & Monitoring" » Open Surveillance & Monitoring - TrackView » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Surveillance & Monitoring » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Surveillance & Monitoring - TrackView app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Surveillance & Monitoring servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Surveillance & Monitoring - TrackView" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Surveillance & Monitoring app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Surveillance & Monitoring might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Surveillance & Monitoring. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Surveillance & Monitoring then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Surveillance & Monitoring not working


2. Fix Surveillance & Monitoring Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Surveillance & Monitoring be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Surveillance & Monitoring not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Surveillance & Monitoring may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
