Aaaand, the login fields get covered by the keyboard, that should be an easy fix...Unuseable, bluetooth connection drops constantly, doesnt matter how far away from the unit you are, this was the number 1 reason i bought this unit, for the bluetooth controller, I mean the original app was broken, but this is next level, you've taken it into the car park and run over it repeatedly.., on top of that it wont load previous recipes into a brew session.

2. Just get the basics right before trying to make it look good..Is there anyway we can revert to the previous version? The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping off you walk more than a couple of meters away, then doesn't always reconnect properly.

3. Also, after the session was created, the "boil time" input also reset to 60 min 🥲 Please fix 😊This latest update is a shocker! First time I've used this new version of the app.

4. I'm sitting here, everything is cleaned and put away, but I cannot finish the session without connecting to the device! Very hard to use because simple functionality is missing - do you want to check your volumes? Well, connect to the equipment first, then the app will tell you.

5. Then it 'forgets' your brewing session which makes the app useless (the reminders to drop hops in, switch things in etc was what made the app really useful).

6. Spent 20 minutes trying to connect via Bluetooth with Huawei P30 Pro, resetting networks, reinstalling the app and I've come to the conclusion it doesn't work.

7. This would help with the dropping of connections and losing your brew session, the lack of this is why I hardly ever use the app despite paying additional for the connect box.

8. Finally get to the boil stage and the power control doesn't even work, even though I've confirmed I turned it on.Getting better.

9. Also, I don't appreciate the demand for full time location permissions.It has bugs that the company hasn't resolve with an app that has been released for several years.

10. Will muddle through on brew day but complete FAIL!The app might be useful for people who want to enter into beer brewing competitions.

1. Fix Grainfather Community Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Grainfather Community: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Grainfather Community App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Grainfather Community" » Open Grainfather Community » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Grainfather Community » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Grainfather Community app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Grainfather Community servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Grainfather Community" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Grainfather Community app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Grainfather Community might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Grainfather Community. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Grainfather Community then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Grainfather Community not working

2. Fix Grainfather Community Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Grainfather Community be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Grainfather Community not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Grainfather Community may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
