1. Just poor.The camera worked for about 2 days, had a temporary short power cut and now it doesn't work at all! I've spent hours and hours and hours connecting, deleting, resetting, sonic setting, manual setting, connecting by cable, nothing worked! Sick of trying now so it's going IN THE BIN!I see people still having problems trying to sync this to cell phone,pc etc...ive used this app for many years now & all of devices works.

2. Judging by all the previous reviews and the fact that the developer hasn't replied to any, I would say if you have just bought this setup, sadly it will not work remotely.Phone aeroplane mode on, then WiFi on.

3. Start app, select LAN, click arrow next to camera and enter your WiFi details.

4. I would suggest whatever the dynamic up service the camera and software use to find each other no longer works.

5. Works fine if you are on the same LAN as the camera, but will not work remotely at all.

6. All these p2p apps are bad and none of them seem to work for this camera.

7. There appears to no longer be a database accessible to camera or software to accounts.

8. Phone aeroplane mode off, WiFi on.

9. Extremely disappointed.What no manual or instructions? How do you know what you are doing and if you're doing it right? No feedback! No reply from requests to change password.

10. Poor app design, needs explanation.why on earth can it not be switched on and off as and when required instead of having to involve the internet.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix p2pCamViewer Issues

1. Fix p2pCamViewer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart p2pCamViewer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the p2pCamViewer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "p2pCamViewer" » Open p2pCamViewer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for p2pCamViewer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear p2pCamViewer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from p2pCamViewer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "p2pCamViewer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check p2pCamViewer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, p2pCamViewer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall p2pCamViewer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall p2pCamViewer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing p2pCamViewer not working


2. Fix p2pCamViewer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make p2pCamViewer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to p2pCamViewer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, p2pCamViewer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
