Why should I report an Issue with NovaKey - Keyboard?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. NovaKey is looking to redesign the way we type on our devices in order to make our overall phone experience quicker and more fluid. -More special characters accessed by long pressing. -Multiple language support. -The ability to create custom shortcuts with all the extra space.

2. Once you learn the place of each key you will be able to type without looking more accurately than with the regular keyboard.

3. This is NovaKey the keyboard designed for touchscreens.

4. Rather than each key being a meaningless tap, in NovaKey each key has a unique gesture.

5. These shortcuts could be anything from quick words to email.

6. Quick gestures like space/backspace. Emojis. And Voice typing.

1. Until this functionality improves I will go back to my default keyboard.I've been using this for years and have mastered its use; however, since it hasn't been updated since 2016, it often freezes on Android 8.1 making me have to frequently force stop the app.

2. If it can be made to work reliably, I'll give it another try.Stupid idea! Keeps keeps closing the app I am currently using or go back because the swipe gestures for those actions are too similar to some of the key swipes that they are very easily triggered accidentally.

3. 5.) In the theme menu, the 3D option adds shadows between the characters and the elaborate backgrounds, checking 3D with the 1st and 2nd backgrounds doesn't do anything.The idea is solid, however the functionality needs work.

4. I'm sure implementing emoji with the penta-theme could be made to work smoothly and better than other systems, but in the mean time the typical drawer would work fine.

5. No tutorial on how to use it, spend more time correcting typos and switching to another keyboard just to delete typos and hit send/go/search.I expected updates, but well...we're in 2021'... Sad, cause it could be interesting if further developed.

6. However the implementation is very clunky, the delete and space bar don't work most of the time,and I was unable to resize the keyboard.

7. 2.) Holding after a delete-swipe lets you delete more by swiping anti-clockwise, it'll remember what was there as long as you continue holding, swiping clockwise will restore what was there at the start of the swipe.

8. I've been using this app in all of my smartphones since 2015 and I can't recommend it enoughI like it, but it has this glitch where it will put spaces on the other side of the cursor.

9. I've only been using NovaKey for 2 days and for sure it's going to stay my default keyboard.

10. 3a.) In cursor mode: passing over the center turns the cursor into a selector, the selection can be expanded in either direction.

11. 3c.) Expanding a selection box beyond the available text removes the selection and goes back to cursor (I find this annoying but understandable).

1. Fix NovaKey Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart NovaKey: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the NovaKey App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NovaKey" » Open NovaKey - Keyboard » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NovaKey » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear NovaKey - Keyboard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NovaKey servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NovaKey - Keyboard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check NovaKey app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NovaKey might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall NovaKey. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NovaKey then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NovaKey not working

2. Fix NovaKey Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NovaKey be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NovaKey not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NovaKey may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
