Why should I report an Issue with Beacon - Anonymous Q&A?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of CuriousCat to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. From what I can gather you can only answer by using the camera, not through text, and as someone with Severe Social Anxiety, this angers me greatly.Great idea, needs to fix some bugs and make it faster , and need to take a video as story .I expected a client for Curious Cat, not a totally new Social media clone from another one.

2. Stick to the online Curious Cat and avoid Beacon.What kind of half-ass social media app cuts off part of an image when posting? Also, being able to limit incoming beacons to your chosen language only is sorely needed.Stories suck.

3. Also, attempting to scroll by tapping and sliding on a text field when editing your profile doesn't work.

4. Took me a minute to figure out you need to scroll by tapping between or above them- not very user friendly.

5. Would be much better with a tutorial or tooltips of some kind to tell how to answer questions without taking photos.

6. I don't like that it bothers me by asking for camera permissions when I am trying to answer to posts/questions.

7. Beacon doesn't even give me enough time to read the question and the answer.

8. I'm assuming it's supposed to say "sensitive." Overall has potential, but needs some work.It has potential but curioucat was more neat and simple.

9. And I would love if the dark theme from curious cat is brought to beacon as well.

10. Stories and camera permissions should be optional and not pop up every time.

11. It should be scrollable like curiouscat.Poor experience as it uses your facebook to sign in and make your user name.

1. Fix Beacon Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Beacon: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Beacon App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Beacon" » Open Beacon - Anonymous Q&A » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Beacon » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Beacon - Anonymous Q&A app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Beacon servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Beacon - Anonymous Q&A" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Beacon app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Beacon might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Beacon. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Beacon then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Beacon not working

2. Fix Beacon Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Beacon be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Beacon not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Beacon may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
