Why should I report an Issue with Spokeo - Identify Unknown Call?

1. Read the reply, how does it solve my issue? The initial search indicates, there are results, then once I paid , there were no results, and I'm stuck with a subscriptionI give it 4 stars cause a lot of times, the info result/results are old or needed to be updated.... especially with looking up phone numbers and things.

2. Today (Jan 17th, 2023 @7:49am), I changed my 4 star rating to a 5 because of the response, given here, by the developers which shows their detication.Information found is available publicly, but I kept my subscription until recently (I can't afford it now) because it was a convenient.

3. The free search will indicate that information was found, in order to get you to purchase a subscription, then the paid account tells you, no information is found.

4. It gives an approximate area of the state for 4 other numbers and it can't find any info whatsoever on the remaining numbers, several of which are either toll free or commercial numbers which Google found immediately.

5. *Edit* Thanks for your reply! You did a great job not addressing the point that you sold me a lifetime subscription then changed your pricing model and don't honor your subscriptions anymore.Total ripoff avoid at all costs.

6. Everything that is coming back says 6 years ago! I'm asking for this payment that was debited last night to be refunded and my subscription canceled! I'll be surprised if they refund my money that was just taken out!!If I could give a 0, I would.

7. the app says free which makes us download it, but as soon as you want to see the results of a search, it hits you with membership sign ups.

9. The results, even if it's the correct person or person's, can typically be old information as well as it can give a correct individual, but things like age and residence, will be old information.

10. Sending credit card folks my info and this useless acct will be canceled.

1. Fix Spokeo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Spokeo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Spokeo App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Spokeo" » Open Spokeo - Identify Unknown Call » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Spokeo » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Spokeo - Identify Unknown Call app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Spokeo servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Spokeo - Identify Unknown Call" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Spokeo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Spokeo might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Spokeo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Spokeo then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Spokeo not working

2. Fix Spokeo Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Spokeo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Spokeo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Spokeo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
