1. Absolutely the worst thing to happen during a panic attack! So sadly, after many years of use, I'm going to have to uninstall and find an alternative.I know firsthand that this app is good and accurate, comparable to a Polar chest monitor with the drawback being the taking of the measurement requiring you to be still and gently place your finger.

Emailed them and get an email response that the email address is not found.Ok it works but I bought a pro version years ago when they had 2 versions but then they got rid of the paid version, merged it, whittled away any benefits, put back intrusive ads, badgers you to set up a subscription and the app works more slowly.

3. Cardiograph>Instant Heart Rate.This has been one of my favorite apps for years but I'm not creating an account (now required) just to take my pulse.

4. Not real helpful if you're in bed with somebody or want to measure late at night and other people are arounReadings would change dramatically , takes to long to read and the pop up for the premium comes up so much that I hit the purchase button by mistake and ended up charging me the app.

5. The light does not burn my finger but I've been using this app for years and now it appears all my data has disappeared.

6. The little heart icon that used to blink in sync with yours, which was convenient because it gave a visual to show accuracy, was helpful if you were checking your pulse along with the app is gone.

7. An option to measure your heart rate for how much you want(without time limit) would be great.It hangs frequently on my Android 7 device.

8. It was as though it tries to hook you (working fabulously in the beginning) then when it fails to convince you to fork up for a subscription, it stops working.The app is great overall.

1. Fix Instant Heart Rate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Instant Heart Rate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Instant Heart Rate App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Instant Heart Rate" » Open Instant Heart Rate: HR Monitor » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Instant Heart Rate » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Instant Heart Rate: HR Monitor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Instant Heart Rate servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Instant Heart Rate: HR Monitor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Instant Heart Rate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Instant Heart Rate might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Instant Heart Rate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Instant Heart Rate then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Instant Heart Rate not working

2. Fix Instant Heart Rate Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Instant Heart Rate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Instant Heart Rate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
