1. The application is designed to calculate such filters: low pass filter, high pass filter, bandpass filter, notch filter, as well as correctors of the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the speaker system.
2. Also in the program there is a calculation of auxiliary crossover circuits: circuit Zobele to compensate for the inductance of the coil dynamics and attenuator to reduce the signal supplied to the speaker.
3. The calculation of crossovers is made by the method of filters of the so-called "all-transmitting" type.
4. Calculation of filters from the first to the fourth orders is provided.
5. Crossovers for speakers are passive LC-filters of sound frequencies.
6. These filters provide minimal frequency and phase distortion for the designed speakers.

Component values can be taken as true and no need to 'adjust'.I sure am glad I never have to deal with passive crossovers ever again, buy an active xover and enjoy the music.Results don't scale on a 5" phone, so there's no way to see what the capacitor value is.There are no options for Linkwitz-Riley or Bessel filters.Makes finding component values to easy.
2. (It should be noted that proper crossover design must be done using full featured software which allows driver impedance and frequency response curves to be imported, but that would be beyond the scope of an Android app.
3. Fun? Go to games for fun, this app is used in designing the crossover component needed in passing and limiting the various audio pitch that each individual speaker can properly reproduce.
4. This app does let you get very close to optimum values, at least for Butterworth filters.)Awesome that it automatically compensates for phase and other 'interactions'.
5. The well-designed, well-thought-out, fairly easy to use, reference study and application app.
6. The only deficiency is: no topology selection for 2nd and 4th order crossovers.
7. These should be available in both Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley.
8. A very handy app if you're familiar with the text and not at all confusing.
