App Ops Customer Insights

1. if you have a operating system that isn't agressive when it comes to shutting down background running apps, appops would be great for you if you care about your privacy.I use the paid version along with icebox, island, greenify, and shinzuku.

2. Make sure you really need this app, there's also Shelter w/ fake camera and the "second environment" (contacts, filesystem, etc) and Permission Manager X (revoking permissions, FOSS, but no usb adb option).Awesome app, exactly what i was looking for.

3. Does 'automatic recovery' restore the settings after android overrides and changes them? Android is overriding them constantly if that's correct and if all auto recovery does is restore 'ignore' or 'deny' until its overridden again, what's the point? It also doesn't say which app is overridden.

4. i hated certain apps taking audio focus, after using this app for one minute i was able to deny that permission, tested the apps in question and it worked like a charm.

5. One example (besides having to install another app so this one can actually work), permissions I had before are disappearing, even when restored from a backup, so now I have to check the whole app list to see what this application decided to change and then fix it.

6. It's getting to be not worth the effort to have this. You can revoke permissions marking them as "ignore" (instead of "allow"/"deny"), it works.

7. The default permission controller on my phone is bundled with other scum modules and automatically kills apps sometimes.

8. The "reset all settings to system default" doesn't work for me, if that should be what I'm looking for.Great app.

9. Now I am able to allow display over other apps on my sumsung.Edit: Crashing nonstop lately.

10. The worst experiance ever now nothing changes even after changing the permissions in delegated admin mode with Island.

11. my only problem is shizuku, it always get shutdown by my operating system and appops rely on it.
