Touchscreen Calibration Customer Insights

1. I figured that if the area worked then the screen was still good so I used this app not expecting much but it worked!!! I honestly thank you guys, this (at the time of this post) is a new phone and I would have been crushed if it died on me so early.This APP looks real good, but I have to do it over, and over to get it right.

2. It was VERY frustrating, but this app asked for a few taps and gestures inside a box---taps and gestures that didn't look like they would help---and SUDDENLY, I can type SENSIBLY AGAIN! GREAT APP.I dropped my phone in water and after a swift rescue and pressurized air through the ports the phone was saved... Except for an stubborn lower area that still responded but was tricky to use.

3. It remains to be seen how sensitive it is, I play fighting games on my phone, where fast tapping and some swiping is repetitive use to test it so I'll come back to finish and give a more accurate real world review.This is a placebo whose sole function is to show ads.

4. I was skeptical for the same reasons listed in other reviews...namely I don't know what the app actually does, and during the calibration it only tests one small part of the screen.

5. After getting a new screen protector, I noticed it was harder to swipe the notification bar down and seemed to be making typos more frequently (mainly letters tapped not appearing).

6. I was always having problems with the figure 8 calibration, but with Touchscreen my phone hasn't missed a beat.

8. Still it's on the right track if you fix it to fail less often.My screen was hardly responding to touch at all, and several spots weren't working at all.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Touchscreen Calibration Issues

1. Fix Touchscreen Calibration Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Touchscreen Calibration: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Touchscreen Calibration App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Touchscreen Calibration" » Open Touchscreen Calibration » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Touchscreen Calibration » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Touchscreen Calibration app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Touchscreen Calibration servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Touchscreen Calibration" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Touchscreen Calibration app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Touchscreen Calibration might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Touchscreen Calibration. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Touchscreen Calibration then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Touchscreen Calibration not working


2. Fix Touchscreen Calibration Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Touchscreen Calibration be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Touchscreen Calibration not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Touchscreen Calibration may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
