1. **(I have an older version--21.7 to be exact--of the TuneIn app on my phone/tablets because that version still allows me to record radio stations). If you want to listen to anything at all, this is not the app to use! Ever since the app was updated with its new interface, the app has become horrendous to listen to music with.
2. Which makes it a waste of money to buy because of the poor music quality!I'm very annoyed that the latest UI version (30.8 Pro) has removed the Stop button when on the station screen.
3. Now if I want to Stop (to stop using my cell data if I'm no longer going to be listening), I have to go back to the Home screen where there is a very tiny Stop button at bottom right, so tiny in a crowded spot that it is hard to use reliably.
4. Also UI bug when using 3 button navigation.Had been using pro version for > 8 years but app keeps getting worse and worse with each release.
5. The TuneIn Radio app opens in the background without my permission (Premium, Pro, or Free; that simply cannot happen with a radio app).
6. Am using the audials app more often now, especially since I can still record shows on there...give it a tryI have been a satisfied Pro user for 8 or 9 years until this summer.
7. There are too many quality radio/music apps out there, so as of 6/9/23 I've UNINSTALLED TuneIn Radio from my Lenovo Duet.
8. Even if I try to stop it, it continues to fill my memory, slowing my phone.I've been using this app for years.
9. The name fit, it offered an easy and quick way to listen to my radio stations and programs when over the air reception was not reliable or available.
10. Good luck!Several years ago TuneIn Radio Pro was exactly what I sought.
11. Gradually they wanted people to move to the subscription model, which is understandable, but it's radio, it's free.
