Security Service Customer Insights

1. Update: reached out to support, still trying to solve the problem.Only issue with the app is anytime I want to deposit check it kicks me out after the first picture.

2. I enter the password, or use the fingerprint scan, and a loading box pops up for a few seconds, then it's right back at the same screen with the correct password, but unable to access accounts.

3. I called the customer service number that pops up when login doesn't work, and they let me know that my account isn't locked, and informed me to try and clear my cache.

4. One extra star for the usual layout and the user friendliness of this app vs other banking apps, but all I get now is a blank white screen.

5. Just sits, infinitely, on a white screen with a loading circle and never gets any further, no matter how many times I've reopened or uninstalled/reinstalled.

6. Not the most competitive rates in high yield savings account/ money market, but always pretty good rates with car purchases.Doesn't seem like a new and improved app.

7. *My issue and reason to reach out is, for the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to get signed into the app.

8. Can this be corrected please? Thank you.One of the most basic UI/UX design laws is don't present the user with an option and then yell at them for choosing it.

9. Also, under the transaction history, the company name no longer displays in full or partial so I have to use the online option to view this info.

10. Has been nothing but problems and a huge inconvenience for me.Locked me out of my account.

11. The app is in portrait mode and the picture taking of the check flips it to landscape.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Security Service Issues

1. Fix Security Service Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Security Service Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Security Service app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Security Service might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Security Service. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Security Service then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Security Service not working


2. Fix Security Service Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Security Service be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Security Service not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Security Service may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
