1. Secure, feature rich and trusted by the Bitcoin community since 2011. • Support: Please use GitHub or email to report bugs rather than the app rating system. • Safe: Your private keys are encrypted and never leave your device. • Forgiving: Your wallet can be recovered from a secret phrase. • Instant On: Electrum uses servers that index the Bitcoin blockchain making it fast. • No Lock-In: You can export your private keys and use them in other Bitcoin clients. • No Downtimes: Electrum servers are decentralized and redundant.
2. Your wallet is never down. • Proof Checking: Electrum Wallet verifies all the transactions in your history using SPV. • Cold Storage: Keep your private keys offline and go online with a watching-only wallet.
1. If I could use biometrics to unlock my wallet I would be one happy human, but then again I don't know caveats, so maybe devs are right to not enable it.This wallet sucks I've been trying to send my funds out for 4 hours now and still there's no pay too box for me to input an address nor when I scan the Qr code does it do anything besides say unknown invoice take me back to the last screen it was on.Text does not scale so it's too small to read.
2. EDIT 5/22/23 Password issue was fixed.Recent update is terrible, app is slower, not as user friendly as the other one, and most important cant send btcIt might feel rough around the edges, interface is not the best one I've seen but it's simple and it works.
3. Unfortunately I dread making the update to v4 of the wallet because I cannot even paste my password with the builtin keyboard it forces you to use, nor can I figure out how to make a transaction that isn't using a lightning channel.
4. This could all be user error, as I'm dragging my feet to bother even learning how to use ltn, but v3 works gr8 for me.I've been using electrum as my go to software wallet and its features are great but the mobile app is full of bugs.
5. The app also crashes constantly and doesn't recognize when you've pasted something, so you can't go to the next screen.Developers very quickly resolved my problem (not being able to use password manager, now I can, via system clipboard).
6. Even with its quirks (not able to autofill password from bitwarden), I've been an electrum user on both desktop and mobile for roughly 7 years now.
7. To say it's made life harder is a gross understatement.App no longer asks for wallet password at start up after update.
8. It freezes and crashes quite often, the keyboard won't load at times, it won't let me go back to a previous page without restarting and now I cannot create a new wallet.
9. I'm stuck at setting a wallet name and cannot proceed to next.
10. Not usable at all.Android 13 makes this app unusable if you run gesture navigation, but that's not the app's fault, and google probably wiped all the scathing reviews of the atrocity that is android 13.
11. But it apparently doesn't have an extensive list of words because it blocks off letters that would lead to a legit word.
