Why should I report an Issue with Trade Me Property?

1. I wish for: alerts for new listings, no need to click the silly "show all" button for all saved searches (why not show all from the start??), more location distance points OR a flag to automatically show distances to the 3 closest railway stations, and a Status e.g. "messaged agent", "received info pack", etc.Unless I am missing something there seems to be no option in settings to make a saved search sort by new listings rather than featured first by default.

2. A pity for the years of good work gone down the drain.I think it is silly how there's a separate property app but one of the main things (Property Insights) you can only view on the main trademe app.

It could still be useful when searching for properties.I originally posted a one star review with the below comments - and I'm really impressed with how quickly the trademe team responded and fixed the bug! Thank you! The only reason this isn't 5 star is because it would be really amazing if Trademe had a filter for freehold vs leasehold.

4. It's a real shame.It's a really good app for a single purpose, and means my normal trademe app can be taken up by meaningless searches for cheap allbirds and bike forks.

5. Be good if there was a filter for sales type, eg auxtion, sale be negotiation etcMap view doesn't work.

8. Happened to me a couple of times (I didn't use the button "view results" on the search form, I pressed "Search" straight away if that matters).

9. I've had to disable all notifications because it's coded to give reminders to check your saved searches almost hourly, even during the middle of the night.

10. The problem is that the entire huge areas are empty and you can't even see any properties to zoom in there.

11. There needs to be some indicator that there are properties in that area otherwise users will not even zoom in there! Please, respond to this.

1. Fix Trade Me Property Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Trade Me Property: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Trade Me Property App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Trade Me Property" » Open Trade Me Property » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Trade Me Property » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Trade Me Property app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Trade Me Property servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Trade Me Property" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Trade Me Property app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Trade Me Property might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Trade Me Property. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Trade Me Property then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Trade Me Property not working

2. Fix Trade Me Property Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Trade Me Property be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Trade Me Property not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Trade Me Property may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
