1. I just tested it on my chirp geocache, and it now works great! 🤗In theory, this app would be nice for geocachers who do not own a Garmin device, but there is absolutely no information on what smartphone models are supported, so you have to install three apps just to find out that it doesn't work on your phone.I was trying to see what this app was about, if I liked it I would use it.
2. Downloaded Chirp Wolf instead and it worked quickly and beautifully!Does not work with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G.Doesn't work on Note 10.Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy A20Not compatible with galaxy s21Crashes when it finds a chirp.
3. Update: 3/24/2020: Received a nice note from the Wout Louwers, the Chirp App developer, regarding the latest update today.
4. This app worked great on 12/18/2019 but when I tried to use it on 12/28/2019, it informed me that it was now outdated relative to my android phone (Samsung S10).
5. Kept force closing, and i had a strong signal.Kept crashing and did not work.
6. Something about the hadeware of sensors to detect...?? If you can get it to work G7's, Galaxay's... Would be cool...I'd give no stars if I could.
7. I was still able to read the Garmin Chirp using my old Garmin GPS the next day.
8. I needed to dnld another app, and then gave me an error message I didnt understand.
9. Sent an email to the developer but haven't heard back from them yet.
10. Waste of data for the download.
