1. This app uses internal API, graphic may glitch in rare case. Tasker plugin supported.
2. Note 1: Turn ON "Keep the same as main screen" from Settings.
3. If you could not find the icon, read the step by step guide.
4. You can switch Wide Mode from Tasker.
5. Note 2: Uses WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS, but the permission has no effect for normal users. (only for Root users).
1. That the company didn't include this feature by default tells me they may not know what they have on their hands in the foldable space... This and the browser helper app (by the same developer) unleash some of the capabilities the phone has that LG didn't consider including. The wide mode works great for most things, though there aren't many good uses for it yet.
2. I don't know if it works on other vehicles or after market radios or not.Great app for forcing apps to wide mode! Perfect for e-readers that don't have dual-screen support yet.
3. So that content would flow across both screens but the hinge area would be "blocking" the view - so a face going across both screens would be the right ratio but you wouldn't see the nose if it was blocked by the hinge area.It was a little tricky to figure out how to add Wide Mode within the top settings menu but it is well worth the setup.
4. This would allow e-readers (specifically the kindle app) to go into two column mode with the hinge in the middle for book-like reading. This app works great but has some bugs as to be expected, but there's one in particular that kind of ruins everything.
5. Some gestures within the app will trigger it to go back to a single screen, but you can enable Wide Mode again at any time.Downloaded this last night and have been playing with it today.
6. Like others have noted, once you are within any app on your right screen, select Wide Mode and the app will strech across both screens, similar to Google Maps.
7. A couple things which would make it even better are if the wide mode persisted more, if I back out of a menu or load content inside an app and go back, it switches back to split screens.
8. It'd be great if it could make apps think they were in landscape mode while in portrait wide mode.
9. The other is I use the Kindle reader app but it doesnt let me have multiple columns in wide mode, though that is probably something you can't do much about, unless you can get it to recognize as a wide display.Wow this is fantastic on my LG V60.
10. Also a feature request: add the wide-view option to the display tool.Being able to type on the lower screen whilst using the upper screen is amazing for productivity and it is a miracle why LG doesn't support this by default.
11. It forces wide mode for all apps and not just those LG has enabled.
