1. Why: 1 it's free!, 2 it works great off line, 3 pictures and pronunciation are decent, 4 the method is the most effective and that consists of the # of words in each que, no time limitations and the review of previous words in new que is just right, 5 ZERO hype, memrise is great but has unnecessary "glitter" 6 it actually links to real news to read and listen to in Norwegian.
2. Only thing if they have phoenetics included for English speakers it will help better for correct pronunciation of the Norwegian language.Love it, find it interactive and also allows you to read the newspaper and listen to Norwegian radio which really helps for getting a good understanding of the language.Amazing app to learn norwegian.
3. This means both that there's a lot of words and sentences to learn and that there are different features such as being able to read news in Norwegian, listen to Norwegian radio, and even a sleep timer so you can listen to Norwegian sentences in your sleep.
4. Works fine, and is a great app! The only suggestion I have to make it better is if you choose the correct word, you don't have to manually click 'continue' afterwards to move to the next word! Seems like an unnecessary requirement and if you have a big phone and reduced hand momement like me it is kind of annoying to do it every few seconds.
5. I don't listen while I sleep but it is very useful for listening while doing houseworkI used to like this app and gave 5 stars.
6. It suggests nonsense words in norwegian.
7. Thanks you! -Dr.J.S.Interesting pictures help you to connect the new words with images in your mind.
8. Statement, red, united... Even very basic words are wrong.
9. Fun to do.Very detailed, it uses audio pronounciation and flashcards, very useful, it schedules you to the amount of time you can dedicate to it per day.
10. Love the flash cards feature to quickly grasp the words.
11. Tusen takk!!This has a lot more content than any of the other similar language apps I have tried.
