1. The format of the remotes has been designed in a very flexible way and the full layout with codes can be edited via the app and an import / export method. - Any smartphone or tablet using Android 4. 4 or higher with an infrared blaster / emitter (only if the API was correctly implemented by the manufacturer, Some SONY devices are NOT supported because they can not send RAW codes! - Samsung devices with Infrared and Stock-ROM will work on Android below Kitkat too. - HTC devices below 4. - Support for Medion Lifetab S7852 and S10334 and other Lenovo devices with infrared. - If your device has infrared and does not work, please contact with additional info so i can check if support can be added.
2. This is an application for using the internal infrared blaster of many modern smartphones - with the long-term aim to support most devices with infrared-remote control and their functions as possible.
3. Also feel free to search for working discrete Codes yourself and send them in (LIRC, Pronto Hex etc) to make my research easier and build the database faster. - Import LIRC (*. cf, *. conf) and irplus (*. irplus, *. xml) files.
4. If the device you want to control is not available send me an E-Mail request and i will try to add it into the database when i have time.
5. Please note: If you rate this application, please consider its under active development.
6. If you have problems or suggestions please contact me for helping me to fix them!
1. Even if you only use as a backup remote, like when you lose one or troubleshoot faulty remotes problems ... or great for pranks at a friend's house :) Database is big enough such that even if I can't find the exact model, there are similar models which work usually with 100% of functions.
2. I have a brand of TV that's not available in this or any other map models list, but I managed to make it work with irplus by combining buttons from 5-6 other TVs! Nedless to say, I know nothing about programming remotes, IR codes, XML editing etc., but I still managed to do it, if somone knew all those things he would have endless possibilities with this awesome appVery handy.
3. The app is great in the sense that it lets you modify buttons (icons, texts) , have access to souce codes(also edit them) and also tests you test buttons from all remotes at once, instead of selecting a remote and then testing it out.
4. A Remote that actually works! If you have been looking for universal remotes like peel or any of those other junk a$$ remote apps like i did, you finally found a good one.
5. I like how you select the model number (or closest to it) of the actual remote control itself - and the option to update the list (extensive it is too!) appears to still work.
6. All other remote apps are rubbish, only show a few buttons on each page and have terrible subscription models, full page ads and hard to use UI.
7. Keep up the good work. This really is excellent - gives more options than my actual TV remote such as switching direct to a specified input.
8. Also, widgets are great Thanks a lot for the application!I don't usually rate apps but I had to rate this one, it's by far the best IR remote app in the store.
9. I look forward to the bugfixes.I had a 7 inch display controller (for a OSMC system) from some chinese brand, so I wasn't able to find a remote for it's IR receiver.
10. Huge library of remote codes and layouts, plus widgets work perfectly.
11. It's not as glamorous with the looks of the remotes, but it has all the buttons and it just worksExcellent app, well done to this developer! Ok the last app update is 2020 but let's face it, most phones newer than that have no ir emitter anyway.
