1. Of course, you can also use this application to take pictures with classic cameras that do not have an exposure meter. (2) Point your [Android phone], which is running the app, in front of your subject and point it towards [your camera]. (The sensor for measuring light on your Android phone is located on the front side of your phone, so point your phone towards [your camera]. (3) Press the "MEASURE" button of the application to start measurement. (4) Press "MEASURE" button again to finish the measurement. (At this point, the measurement value is recorded and you can move away from the subject. (5) Set the shooting conditions on the application.
2. However, since the built-in exposure meter is reflective, it may not be able to accurately measure exposure because it is affected by the color or gloss of the subject.
3. This app uses incident light to measure exposure and is not affected by the color or gloss of the subject.
4. By this app, you can use your phone as incident light meter, and you can take a picture of the correct exposure.
5. In such cases, you can use this application to measure the exposure.
6. Digital cameras have a built-in exposure meter.
7. Change your camera to manual mode when setting the values.
8. This app can measure 'F number' , 'Shutter speed' or 'ISO sensitivity'.
9. For example, if you want to calculate the f-stop, set ISO and SS on the app.
10. The calculated f-value will be displayed on the app. (7) Set the ISO/F/SS values displayed on the application to [your camera]. your camera] Digital SLR camera, mirrorless camera, classic camera, etc. (Any camera that can be used for manual shooting is fine.
1. My sensor is in the front, so it's hard to find the button when not looking at the screen. This is by far the best Light meter, and the easiest to use for photography, you can set it using aperture/shutter priority and get correct exposure.
2. point it to the light guys not after the light bounce to the sensor, that's the right way to use light meter or flash meter according to many professional photographers. Not sure any of these apps are accurate 🤔 The display is hard to read.
3. Ensure that the light sensor on your device is clean (I was getting inaccurate readings at first bcus my screen protector over the sensor was very dirty.
4. you always need to remember te enable the measure to get it work properly. When pressing "measure" bar, all I get is "sensor error." Since the developer's "support" site is in Japanese without any English translation, it makes this app unusable to me.
5. P.s this app uses the built in light meter of your device and not the front facing camera.very useful.
6. If someone else has also encountered this problem and solved it, it sure would be great if you share the solution.Just what I have been looking for! Not checked exact accuracy yet but seems close and not found a simpler app to check each of the exposure triangle settings against each other.
7. If it proves accurate would happily pay for this app.Excellent incident light meter.
8. I get he was trying to copy an old LCD display but it is hard to see in a lot of light conditions. It measures the brightness of incident light which strikes objects' surface.
9. When I hit the measure button I get sensor error.
10. I uninstalled and reistalled several times but the same sensor error comes up.
11. Making the Measure button larger would help the usability a lot.
