1. After I enter any value to send, or even just add the new wallet address, the program locks up and I am forced to close it with no head way.Pretty good, tried to use it for payment, entered pin.. i dont see why i need to add an entire phone lock screen to send a payment then remove it to use my phone and repeat the process to use the app.

Which means that if the devs who make the wallet ever stop updating it then there is high probability risk that you cannot recover your funds using a different wallet.As far as the wallet goes it is good, just accessing the damn thing without alwas getting the error about the main encryption library has failed to load.

3. Resynching with the block chain takes roughly 4 hours..may try uninstalling the app and reinstall but worried I will lose everything!App keeps crashing and I have to wait for wallet to recount 2 years of transaction.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DigiByte Issues

1. Fix DigiByte Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DigiByte: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DigiByte App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DigiByte" » Open DigiByte » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DigiByte » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DigiByte app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DigiByte servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DigiByte" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DigiByte app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DigiByte might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DigiByte. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DigiByte then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DigiByte not working


2. Fix DigiByte Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DigiByte be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DigiByte not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DigiByte may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
