1. I really like this app it helps a lot and is more organized than Spotify (despite having to link up to specific playlists to work) the only reason I don't see myself sticking with it is because there is no option to shuffle playlists... I don't want to hear the same song every time I press the button.. other than that.. this is bursting with potential! Good one to keep an eye onI have always had trouble trying to find the right music for dnd sessions, so I just went without it.
2. If you have Spotify premium, then great! I would love to see a YouTube Music version eventually. The core idea is a good one, but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to uninstall it; not only is there no way to actually PICK the track you wanna play instead of cycling through all of them until it shows up, but when I get to a certain point in ALL the levels of the combat tracks, the it CRASHES.
3. I immediately paid to remove the ads, even though they were non intrusive, to directly support the creator of this wonderful app.Wonderful app and execution! As a spotify premium member, this app wonderfully visualizes all my premade playlists for an easy soundboard during my games.
4. This streamlines having to scroll through multiple folders and playlists on Spotify to just simple tabs, AND it already comes with a lot of preloaded playlists that are organized in a way that makes sense.
5. If these problems're fixed, I'll consider a reinstall.Exactly what I was looking for! Multiple songs keeps the experience fresh! :D The variance of moods, atmosphere and even enemy type is awesome and they keep adding on more.
6. It's user friendly, the creators are responsive, it's easy to set up and use during your session, and the Playlists could not be more ON POINT.This app does everything I've wanted in a sound board for D&D.
7. There are options to bypass Spotify if necessary, but I actually got logged in this time! I usually try to have ambient sounds with my DnD sessions, using several different methods.
8. As a user of both syrinscape and dndify, the one thing this app is lacking (that syrinscape has) is a cross fade option to smoothly transition if you manually switch tracks/playlists.
9. (would not recommend) but this app has made it so much easier! it's not absolutely perfect, but its amazing Edit: I dont know how hard it would be but, maybe there could be a feature that allows fade ins and outs of the music.
10. HOWEVER, Dndify no longer allows me to link YouTube playlists, only single videos.
11. Being able to easily switch between fights of varying difficulty to regular ambient music is great.
