1. I'd give 5 stars if this was fixed & a SSA rep explained things.Finally figured out from reading other reviews that you need to click on the year for the birthdate on the first screen to change it and avoid having to swipe back decades (if needed) on the pop-up calendar.

2. Took me awhile to figure that one out!Rather than use drop down menus for year/month/day to enter birthdates, the app uses a calendar where you have to change the date one month at a time, so as I am almost 60 years old that is over SIX HUNDRED swipes or taps! A very very poor app design move.

3. I've been using this app for a long time and this month it suddenly stopped working, gives an error "We could not find a match for the information you entered".

4. AN EASY FIX FOR BIRTHDATE ISSUES: you can tap on the year & it will give you years to scroll through rather than having to swipe month-by-month in the pop-up calendar.

5. Also, a tip on how to enter birth year should the app get fixed...click on the year and from there you can go back without having to scroll month by month.

6. I may try it once and hope it remembers it next time (but it didn't in my first test, however I didn't go all the way to the final submission in my test run)Is great when it works.

7. Im gonna download it again n try it.The update that was just done between May and June has made the app so much more complicated! If i have to try to figure out how to add a picture of my information then it should automatically populate what ive added instead of still making me go back and forth between apps! I leave one app and any information previously entered is loss.

8. A drop down menu like literally every other app uses would make the process take 30-45 seconds to submit the data, not 5-10 minutes.I take back my earlier 1-star review but can only give 3 stars.

9. Really hope they fix this the app is the best way to report.It wouldn't be such a bad experience if I didn't have to press the arrow going back through the years to 1984, 432 times.

1. Fix SSA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SSA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SSA App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SSA" » Open SSA Mobile Wage Reporting » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SSA » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SSA Mobile Wage Reporting app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SSA servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SSA Mobile Wage Reporting" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SSA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SSA might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SSA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SSA then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SSA not working

2. Fix SSA Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SSA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SSA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SSA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
