1. There's an option to disable ads, but I haven't seen ads anywhere in this comprehensive and robust app.I'm a huge fan of this and the music player, but since Android has updated so much since 2012 (the last time MortPlayer was updated) things have gotten unstable.
2. I used this for audio books, podcasts, lectures, etc happily for many years, but sometime in the last few months, it broke (I assume thanks to an Android update).
3. Looks bad too, if you don't have cover pics!Although this is the only music player that has a resume and bookmark function, it is one of the most unstable apps I have ever encountered, freezing or force-closing half the time.
4. BUT as other people have said, it has developed a bug where it crashes every time you access an audio book.
5. Many customization options, and it even stops the book when you get a notification or even directions in a GPS app. This app was my go-to for years if I ever wanted to listen to audio on my phone.
6. I'll miss this little guy's face, but it's time to find another solid audiobook player with a chill interface yet feature rich.So sorry to have to let this one go.
7. Crashes every time I change audio books.
8. Strangely, I chose these apps based on the name (he's a Terry Pratchett fan, as am I), but it's been a great choice for many years.
9. I just copy audio files over to it's folder, refresh folder data, and carry on.
10. It has not been updated in years so I assume the developer is no longer working on it.Was good while it lasted.
11. And I have been using it on android for some time.
