1. The app will not access your photos or camera or upload any of your data without your own intentional actions or without visual feedback or your consent. • Camera and video (optional): The app allows to attach photos in various places (for example projects, How-Tos, comments, paints, Paint-Sets, Swatches/Gallery) and also has a Barcode-Scanner which uses the video-mode of the camera. • Internet and download: The app has various online-features like downloading How-Tos, Paint-Sets, making online-backup (Server or Google Drive) of your data and downloading images from the web or from Instagram or to perform an anonymous read-only version-check. • Preventing stand-by: While using the barcode-scanner, the app prevents the phone from going into stand-by, so you can keep scanning without the screen getting locked automatically. • Controlling vibration: The app has optional reminders about active timers or to make you go paint.
2. Brushrage is aimed at miniature and model painters to organise and track their model collection, projects, progress, paints used and colours used or in possession.
3. You can inspect your project timers, navigate through your projects and start of stop timers and get reminded of active timers.
4. It requires the phone version to create projects first.
5. These projects will then be be displayed and be started / stopped on the watch.
6. These reminders may vibrate if you want to. • Notifications: See above.
7. The app uses the following permissions for the following purposes.
8. All notifications are optional and can be disabled in the settings.
1. Not the easiest UI to understand at first, but once you take the time to get comfortable and figure it out it turns into something pretty useful! Log your paint recipes(it has most every paint range in it's library), stopwatch feature to time your projects, make your own step by step turorials for models or effects with pictures, and it reminds you to paint daily(you can turn that off).
2. I use it to track my paint inventory and that is such a huge help once you've collected over 200 paints! I'm strictly modern wargaming, so I paint a lot of different camouflage patterns.
3. Finally, multiple backup options, including Google Drive which is a blessing for me.Very nice to be able to track time on your projects, remember what paints you used, take progress photos etc.
4. Also, when I add a new paint to my Inventory, it appears at the bottom of the list with a huge gap of white space between it and the last entry.Lifesaver! Not only do I have full access to my paint list across multiple lines.
5. I would also like it to sync across devices,so I could use my tablet for photos while I use my phone for other things.Great app for miniature painters! I've loved this little addition since day one! It has helped me immensely to remember what colors I used for what armies, as well as, how long I spent on each project and where I need to improve areas that took way longer than they should have.
6. I've painted for a decades and recording how a particular model was painted years ago is handy when I want to add more to a collection. If you paint miniatures you need this application.
7. I only have one complaint: I almost exclusively use Reaper and they did not have a single limited-time or seasonal paint listed ... However, this was mitigated by them having the ability to create custom paint records by taking a picture of a swatch.
8. Suggestions: the color swatches for Thondia Brown and Rhinox Hide are reversed in the paint list.
9. If you're a hardcore mini painter then this AD-FREE app is for you! :)This has a more up-to-date paint database than the other apps I've tried.
10. Users can keep paint inventory, record mixes, log sessions, add notes to *everything*... it's very comprehensive.
11. Projects allows me to save which colors I'm using so I can come back to it later and not guess which colors I used.Truly great; everything you would want from a mini painting app.
