1. The calculated values are the maximum recommended values, based on 90% of yield.
2. If your bolt is not listed, enter the values of your bolt by hand.
1. please add some more metric standards and some presets for the friction coefficient that may help people who don't have idea of its value like I do.Only designed for max torque to shear the bolt.
2. For fast conversationNot bad but there is no metric fineKeep up the good work man.The friction coefficient is important.
3. I installed this app, believing the title, that it was a bolt torque calculator.
4. That would be useful for most applications, but when you ask the app about a 7mm x 1.25 bolt, it throws an error, saying that is not a standard bolt size.
5. For users less familiar with bolted joint design, a drop down menu with standard friction coefficients would be helpful.
6. The idea of a calculator app should be to have all of the info quickly accessable to a busy mechanic in the field without having to look up values elsewhere.
7. If I have an m12 8.8 bolt threading into 8mm think aluminium how many Nm do I use? This app can't sayGood, but needs presets for fiction.
8. Do the math.first I thought it's just got imperial threads and was ready to uninstall it but then I found I was wrong... simple and effective app.
9. It doesn't calculate the torque using the accepted engineering formula.
10. Like dry, oiled, loctite and anti seizeSeems a good thing.
11. I also would like to see metric fine on the app. It's a good app.
