1. This gives the impression of half-baked programming and tells me to look elsewhere. The exercises are great and fun but its like you have to pay for everything or it's really limited and I mean really limited sometimes you can do one part of the lesson and the next is locked until you can pay for it and I'm getting tired of trying to go around the app and look for things that aren't locked, most things that help are locked what if you can't pay.
2. I am 100% new to music so the 'ear training' workouts are helpful but there's nothing that really focuses on helping you learn the notes that you're singing and, considering the cost of the subscription, I really think that there should be.App automatically goes into landscape mode the second it's opened, making navigation and set up incredibly cumbersome.
3. I'm using the app for bass, by the way, and have only been playing a few months, but have learned a lot in that amount of time.I never touched a guitar before, played with strings, yes, but actually try, no.
4. That said, using the app on my computer is incredibly helpful for learning and very well done, engaging all learning modalities at once.Definitely not happy about being locked into a 12 month contract with this app with absolutely no way to cancel.
5. I think I'll find another app.At the start of day 3 on my 7 day trial, I love how well this app hears the sound of my guitar! I have been playing for years and been getting nowhere.
6. Going back to the bare bones basics and learning what I've been doing wrong for Soo long.
7. This app taught me from a beginning stage how to play and learn all the stuff on the guitar even has a built in tuner so need for that old tuning box from way back when.
8. Doing that helped me out a lot.I've been playing for years, so i pick up songs fast.
9. It would be better, and more logical to keep it in standard portrait mode while looking around (and even trying to sign in/up) then change the orientation when needed, not before.
10. Nice to be able to plug into an aux in jack on your phone to your amp and play along at the same volume level and such.
11. If you're diving into the songs and skipping the lessons, remember you can reduce the volume of (or totally eliminate) the guide vocals if they're annoying.
I want to cancel my subscription but your application won't allow this so please cancel now!!!
