1. Not really a scope just a free running audio digitiser.Omg,, i tried to see if i could sing, and all waves the same lol Then my dog barked, wave went crazy, then i wolf whistled and wave was closer similar amplitude, totally ace.. Im a mechanic and will be using this app to check engines for smooth idle etc 10/10Really great app! I was able to show my child how sound vibrations look.
2. As far as ranging goes, a resistor on the input will attenuate signals into a safe range and should be standard practice anyway. This is the best free oscilloscope app I have used.
3. If you are still doing development work on this app, I would suggest adding a "divide-by-ten" option to the sweep rate function.
4. bonus points for small app size, unintrusive ads, the trig function, the 1, 2, 4, 8 sampling size and the 2 channel function.
5. Super happy with it.It works fast, but doesn't allow you to narrow the time frame or control the trigger.
6. That would be very useful for monitoring record levels on sound equipment.it does its job and it does it well.
7. First of all, people need to realize the limitations inherent in this method.
8. On top of that, many have an uneven response which will result in some frequencies being inaccurately measured.
9. You are using an audio input on your device.
10. Great 2 channel display though.A let down.
11. The tuner showed a true D.
